Taking forever
This book is taking me a really long time to read. The main character is now in the army fighting the rebels. He has become a hardcore warrior and enjoys killing and and smoking marijuana. Thats about as far as I've gotten now.

Amazing
I have read a little more but a bunch has happened. The main character and his friends are all on their way to another village where they heard that their families were. On the way to that village they helped a man that they knew carry bananas back. When thery almost got to the village they heard gunshots. The rebels had just started attacking that village. They lit every building on fire and everyone died. The boys' families were all burnt to death.

A Long Way Gone
Not much has happened since I last wrote about this book. The main character gets seperated form the group in another attack by the rebels. He gets lost in the forest for a while until he finds a group of boys he remembers from school. They hear about a place by the ocean where there isn't any fighting so they head for that place. When they get there a sailor takes care of them for a week in his fishing hut. But then the tribe leader finds out that there are 5 teenagers there and the boys have to run away. A Long Way Gone is filled with lots of adventure and view changing facts about civil war in Sierra Leone.

A Long Way Gone
I'm enjoying reading this book more than the other books I have read this year. It's filled with action and there is always an attention grabber. It's taking a long time to read because there is so much to absorb in the book.

A Long Way Gone
I've already made one post about this book. the boys in the story went to a city for a rap competition but while they were away their city got attacked by the rebels. Then the rebels moved on to the city that they were in. They escaped them but had to go back to get money because they were starving. They got caught that time. While they were being initiated in to the rebels army the guards got distracted and they escaped them. They are on the move to a safer city but find a little village where one of the boys' aunt is living. They stay there and keep guard on top of a hill for the village. This is as far as i have gotten into the book.

Finished!
I finished Mistaken Identity last night. It had an epilogue at the end where Whitney talks about what she remembers, which isn't much. She remembers right before the accident and about a month after the accident. I would recommend reading this book if you like books that move you.

Almost Done
In the last part of this book the the Ceraks are adjusting to what its like to have there daughter back and the Van Rhyns are adjusting to not having a daughter anymore. They had to have the body exumed and than have a funeral for her and they had to deal with the stress of losing a daughter. The other family had to catch up on what their daughter has been doing in rehab and they finally get to take her home. She goes back to college but she only has the intelligence of an 8th grader. Whitney doesn't like it at college cause people treat her differently then they did before the accident.
